Newbie here...visually, what has been done to this car? (Besides the intercooler and aftermarket wheels).

I think I'm seeing a 97+ grill cut into the older style front bumper and I am particularly interested in what kind of front lip and skirts are on this car.

Thanks!

You're right...Wald. Looks like the kit runs about $1,000. Not bad considering the 97+ upgrade could cost that much.

Thanks for the reply.

You better know what you're getting into if you plan to buy it

CleanSC4 has written up about that kit before (he has it). Search and you will find. He seems to say that given the price and company's reputation, it should've well...actually fit his car without so much work. LoL

It's CleanSC. He used the 97+ kit, so the fitment may vary. Still, worth the read anyway to know what a buyer might expect when installing.

The kit. From my understanding you better have a good bodyshop guy who knows what he's doing so the kit doesn't get ruined. It appears that it has to be worked on a little to fit perfectly.

Read again...he had to deal with fitment problems and said it was somewhat a PITA.

So basically, just use 97+ OEM parts.

Is the 97+ side skirt upgrade straight forward?

all a matter of preference...

The 97 upgrade requires quite a few parts - there is a comprehensive list right HERE (Click Me!)

Pics there too so you can make an educated decision.......

Good luck

I knew that... but I'm OG here

The front half spoiler on the Wald kits is the only difference between pre and post 97 styles so the fit should still be the same throughout them.

Double check that ...... I think this is the pre'97 wald kit with the HALF bumper installed on a post 97' oem bumper???

Am i correct...?

I just didn't want anyone purchasing the kit for their pre 97 hoping to get the full bumper with the grill cut out.....

IF i'm mistaken please LMK
