Default Wheel/tire question....

Here is the plan. I will be getting a TT motor with an SP61 single and SP built auto tranny in my sc300.

I want to use the GS430 wheels that are on the car for everyday driving. They look nice, and give the car a sleeper look.

This company widens wheels... http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/

I want to send them 2 of the GS wheels and have them widen them to 10 inches. Plus it would pull the wheels out flush with the fender and not have the tucked look.
I want to run 315-35-17 nitto Drag Radials to help put down the 550rwhp or so

I searched for the 315 to see if it fits and didnt find very much.
My question is does the 315 tire fit and does anyone have pics of how they look on an SC?

If you widened the wheels, wouldn't they still sit the same way just wider. The offset would change?? Am I right??

My brother just got his wheels back from weldcraft and they came out SUPER nice! Check them out here

http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthre...2&page=1&pp=20

He widened them 2 more inches for a total of 10.5.

BTW:you should just throw your COBRA wheels on the SC, they'd fit nice

Also, I had 315/35/17's on my S14 and they fit fine with a bit of rolling. I also test fit them on the SC and they fit perfect. It also depends on the offset of the wheels to see if they would clear.

I'm running a 295/35/18 now with a plus 25mm offset wheel in the rear (10.5), but I pulled my rear fenders A LOT

It took three days to get to the shop. The guy called us when they arrived at the shop and started working on them that day. Then he called three days later and said he sent them out that day. Took it another couple days to get here.

Spent around 175 each wheel for a 2" increase. The wheels were also true and balanced out perfectly.

I just noticed you're in Orlando. Where abouts? I'm located right next to UCF and you're more than welcome to check out the wheels and welds yourself.
