Default Electronics problem

I've searched... couldnt reallly find an answer to my specific problem. Sometimes when I brake all the electrical equip goes dim or shuts off. These include a/c, radio. lights, etc. I have a brand new optima yellow top 2 months old. No aftermarket stereo or anything else that could be robbing power. I cleaned my terminals so theres no corrosion. I had this problem before with my old battery, but after cleaning the terminals it went away for a while. Do I need to get new terminal connectors or do I need a grounding kit?

Hopefully OLT can chime in.

Bad ground. 100%

Sand all the connections to the engine ground, chassis ground, then check the wire going into the connections such as the terminals on the battery. The wire can get corroded and not make contact with a perfectly sanded clamp when it looks good touching the battery post, the wire itself isn't making good connection with the clamp.

do the positive also, maintenance is key.

^^ agreed. It has been covered on this forum before, several times
I know of one thread in particular, which my brother created when my car had the same problem. Some good suggestions in that thread, here you are: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...5&page=1&pp=15
