I just put in a new red top battery and my airbag light came on, think it confused the computer or something? how should I fix it? thanks!

It probably came on because you turned the ignition while the battery was disconnected or something.

Do a search and you can find some steps to remedy the issue.

With over 30 threads on this, I'll only help you if you will at least try and help yourself. This isn't one of those that needs specific key terms. I spammed three of the threads with keywords last year just to make sure they'd come up in almost any related search.

When is the airbag light supposed to turn on?
Mine is on but I don't know if it actually is malfunctioned. The airbag is still intact though.
