Im looking into s2000 seats and Im interested in seeing how they look in the SC. Ive had S2k seats in a civic so I know how they sit and the extra head room in the SC would be great. Im just afraid they'll look a bit off (they look very thin in my opinion) for a SC.

 

sounds like a good idea....i saw a set of black ones in a supra and it was a good match. You need to modify the mounting plate at one point but other than that it's almost a simple bolt in

 

IMO .... they work well but I would rather buy a set from a Supra owner who has already changed the mounting brackets, etc. unless your handy in that area.
I as well have seen them in 2 Supras and they look outstanding...

 

Thats funny because when I searched I found several sources saying that they bolt directly in. Either way, modifying the brackets isnt a big deal. So does anybody have pics of them in a SC?

If you just searched, you would know if anybody had them in their SC's. But that is just what I think.

 

I did search and only found red "X"s instead of pictures. I also found a few people claiming to have them in their SCs. Also Im hoping to find somebody with real pics and not photoshopped pics.

 

Your best bet is to try supraforums. Stock S2k seats are not a direct bolt in. The brackets need to be modified according to the supra owners.

In my 3+ years of observing the classifieds here and on SF, I have only seen 1 set of S2k seats come up for sale. If you see a pair for sale, buy them.

 

Thanks for the info. Im a honda boy so I can get S2000 seats pretty easily and Ive modded brackets to make seats fit in the past (more so EP3 seats in a DC2 chassis).

 

check www.s2ki.com for used s2000 seats....and stop in the JDM forum on there, I rule that lil corner of the universe with a iron fist! (not really, but i'm a mod)

 

Boy I need this also, being well over 6' kills me, I didn't realize how little headroom there was in these cars. If you find something or somewhere with good deals please post up.

 

There has to be a pic floating around somwhere.........I want to see too.
