How is SC400 => SC430 like the film The Sand Pebbles?
Film fans will recall the final words of Steve McQueen's character in the film The Sand Pebbles. SM's character is mortally wounded by gun fire and as he dies he cries out loud to no one in particular in shocked disbelief "What the hell happened?"
That's the reaction I have when I see the butt-ugly SC430 and recall the drop-dead gorgeous SC300/400 models from the early to mid 90's that preceeded it.
I mean really, what the hell happened to make Lexus turn such a beautiful shape into something so unattractive that only someone with great wealth balanced by even greater lack of taste would possably consider buying it. (And they are out there, folks.)
