I believe that is actually the Wald 'executive' kit. If I remember correctly there were some fitment issues. Search for CleanSC and you should find the post.

Wald has two kits the pre 97 and the 97 and up. The pre 97 comes with full front bumper like the one pictured above, side skirts and full rear bumper. The 97 and up is just front lip, side skirts and full rear bumper.

its a great price, especially when it says just the lip, and the pre 97 is full bumper, its also something different. but like someone has mentioned for CleanSC, the fitment is horrible. hmm decisions decisions. thanks guys

is the fitment really that bad? ive always thought of this kit as the only one (or one of the few) that i can drive around nearly anywhere in and not worry about it. and its very clean/stock'ish looking.

If its really that horrible then you or whoever is buying that kit need to have a good autobody person to install it.

The kit has horrible side skirt fitment...front lip & rear bumper needs some work to fit also...

I thought it would be a perfect fit, but my bodyshop said it had problems. AutoCouture seemed like the only kit I had that had zero fitment problems.

cleanSC's experience still seems odd to me, I've seen about 30 or so of Wald's other kits fitted and never had ANY fitment issues....however, I do know that Wald switched manufacturers at some point so that may be what comes in to play. Either way I'de like to see someone else rock this kit and see. I might get the front for my 400 since I intend to keep that one cleaner and more stock looking....

You sure Jason? You have seen 30 or so? I have never seen more than 8 wald vehicles.

I also had fitment issues for the sides and rear.

Yeah 30 or so, not all in the U.S. though. Actually 90% of the ones I saw were for newer vehicles. Cars like the Z33 , Altezza, and the SC430. I never once heard about any fitment issues...actually, quite the opposite, I heard alot of praise about the quality and fitment. Since yours had issues, my best guess is that WALD still has stock left over that was produced by their former manufacturer and some of them have fitment issues. That would explain why the fitment issues seem to only appear on older Wald kits.

When I get in to work tomorrow I can post pics of an insanely clean Wald Z33 that the owner raved, "required absolutely no modification."

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not trying to defend Wald. It's obvious that there is something not right here...I'm just trying to shed some light on things with what I know.

Hey, I called the a guy over at Carson and he said that the pre 97 do not come with the full front and rear bumper for the advertised price which I think is about $1050 or so.. Just lips. Does he know what he's talking about or what? He said its about $2400 for the full front and rear on the pre 97.

Sides fit like poo, the side skirts looked like they were warped when I got them, pushes out my lower door molding as seen above.

Tony: Have you considered the early door mouldings? They fit the Wald sides much better.
