Default my cars progress so far....

I wanted to post my experience with my SC300 I bought less than a month ago, the car has 59k miles on it... in the pics, mines the red one...

Here is what I have done so far. I have had Stock chrome GS430 wheels which came with the car when I bought it (a month ago)
I liked them a lot but I traded them for silver 19" blitz technospeed z1's.

Then I sold those and put on the spare gold OZ 16" rims which also came with the car when I bought it. They have new tires for the snow which is awesome since we just got 8 inches last night!

Then I realized how rare and how good the car looked with the GS wheels are so I picked up another chrome set in perfect condition with new tires. they are in the mail right now!

I also picked up some 19x9 and 19x10 Polished Iforged aero's which look good, but since I dont have big brakes and my rotors have a little rust, it may not look the best on the car at this point. The wheels ship to me monday!

My car looks like crap right now though, gold emblems, gold wheels, no spoiler, no tint...

But as soon as I get back to chicago, I have the following going to be installed...

20% tint on back 3, 35% front
Chrome emblems to replace gold
Chrome GS wheels to replace gold wheels
Chrome 3d lexus liscense plate holder
95 style SC300 spolier
and Im going to paint the black grille piece Red to match the car..

My suspension is also bone stock right now. I bought some supra shocks and eibach springs but I really wanted to get some tein basic coilovers at some point so I just sold the springs and I will end up getting the coilovers sometime.

What I will probably do is run the stock Chrome GS wheels for a while with the stock suspension and when I get my hands on some coilovers, sell the Chrome GS wheels and put on the Iforged 19's.

I have fallen in love with this car and if its setup right, it can be one of the best looking cars on the road! I just thought Id share with you guys what I have done with the car in the month that I have owned it!

then later, SP built auto with 3600 stall and SP67 turbo but that is a work in progress. My turbo cobra needs to be done/tuned before I turbo the lexus

Im going to wait because I like the adjustability of the coilovers and with the 19's, springs may sag and rub

- Car looks like it's in great condition with super low miles.

- 8 inches of snow! Yikes!

- GS400 wheels always look very classy on the SC body

- Chrome emblems a must.

- Sounds like you have a lot of disposable income to build the SC of your dreams.

- Painting the grille red.... Don't know about this one mod. I think it might make the front end a little too busy. But that's just my opinion.

- Keep up posted on what else you do.

yeah, im having second thoughts about that. I think it would make it look more like a 99 front end. I dont know, thats the last thing on my list for now though, you may be right.
