while i was driving for 1-2 hrs today, I felt the heat from my leg, and from side breaks. Is this normal? I remember that I had same experience when my dad had LS. just curious...
thanks

Default Same thing here ...

Yup, experience the same thing in my SC4. Gets real hot in the legroom after a while. No clue if it's normal. I would think it's not? Or, if it is ... any easy fix for this?

Default Air settings.

Change the air intake to recric instead of fresh, and that should stop the hot air from engine bay getting in.

Toan Nguyen, thanks for reply. Can you explain more detail about air intake? you saying that I should change original air intake(by the engine?) to the mushroom shape one? I might be thinking something else....

I think what Toan is saying is that you should switch from outside air to air recirculation. That's the button (top / middle) on your climate control.

Default push that button.

Yeah... just push that button so that the cabin air is trapped (recric = recirculated) and the hot engine bay air isnt brought in. I dont know why when you press to get "fresh" air it gets heated by the engine. Maybe the pipes arent heat sheilded enough. Or the foam heat sheilding has deteriorated over time (the back spongy foam thing that resites inside the vents). Go figure. I still love the car
