Any benefits to high-flow cats?

I am considering going w/ aftermarket high flow cats for my '92 SC300. After 9 years, I think the oem cats have had it. Currently, my car only has a cold-air intake and stock exhaust. Has anyone already done so and can give me some insight as to any gains in performance or sound?
What brand did you go with and what dimensions (overal dimensions, inlet/outlet sizes, etc)? How well is it holding up? How much did it cost and to install?
thanx in advance!

Another thing you may also want to try is replace your reflective silencers with an adsorptive type (less restrictive). The SC has both types and I believe the first set back from the manifold are the adsorptive type. If you make the change you will also get more low frequency noise (this may be good or bad depending on your tastes).
Since the reflective silencers are down pipe of the cat, you will get a better result is you have a less restrictive cat. With the stock set up the cat is the bottle neck. This is why aftermarket mufflers have little affect on backpressure. Ahead of the cat you can also increase the downpipe size by a 1/2" diameter.
Good luck.
