Help with green leather and seat play
I know I've run into a thread or FAQ about this before but I can't find it.
The driver seat has a certain amount of play in it. It slides back and forth barely without the controls. Where can I find out more about this and how to fix it?
Also, I'm looking to replace the worn leather in my car. Seats, gear shifter and hand brake. I need to match the stock green interior, so what company offers leather kits that match that color and what color do I need to get?
I have a silver spruce 93 Lexus SC400 with a green leather interior.

those came with green leather interior? Dang...now ive seen everything.
Check your door trim for the color code of your interior and then call your local Lexus Dealer to verify? I guess thats your best option.

its not green, its grey with some blue but turns green from wear. your best bet is to go to katskin and get their interiors. correct me if im wrong but they are one of the site sponsors i think. cheapest place to get the interior resurfaced at.
as for the seat, take it out and check to make sure everything is tight. if it is then start looking for a new seat since the parts are worn. again the cheapest route would be to buy a used one in good condition and redoing the leather on that.

Wow, you guys are absolutely right. I guess I never really thought about it originally being grey but I can see how it would be grey now before the wear.
So what shade of "grey" do I want to get from autoleathers.com ? They have 20 greys to pick from

i say whatever tickles your fancy. if you email them they can give you the best suggestion for the "stock" color. They also have some pretty cool materials you can use instead of the regular leather.

My Leathers - From Katzkins
Look at this web site to see how Katzkins did my interior. Actually, they sewed the leather and I had a local shop install them. My total: $1070.00
