Default Winter storage

You may recall I got rear ended on Halloween. Well she's almost fixed and going in hibernation for the winter. Halloween was on a Monday and I was taking the car to Michigan to store for the winter that following weekend until the idiot with the bootleg insurance company rear ended me. Anyway, last winter I had a garage and I could drive the Lex around every week during winter inside the garage.
This winter I have to take her to Michigan and store in my Dad's garage. Any suggestions on what I need to do since I won't be able to start it as frequently? Dad travels alot and I am not letting his girlfriend anywhere near my car.

I've been updating my FAQ links for winter storage, here are a few you can find using search . I pretty much used 'winter storage' as the keyword to gather these, some very detailed.

Here is the minimum, and what I have done for the last 6 years for my 300ZX convertible. Change the oil; inflate the tires to 45 psi to keep from getting flat spots; put several open tins of mothballs in and around the car to keep the mice out; cover the car with the windows partially opened. If possible charge the battery once a month. Good luck

Default Thanks Dave

I have been trying to use the search method instead of always posting but I need to work on my search skills. Thanks again. I appreciate it.

I have been searching more lately but then I come in and ask a question about winter storage instead of searching using "winter storage".
