BTW, If I remember correctly, CLear Corners charges about $2300 for the 2000 tails with LED's...

there are a few guys on these forums with l.e.d. tailights, not full l.e.d. like the 1100 dollar pair, or the vertex cars, but with a more mild l.e.d. set up

 

i hope CleanSC doesn't mind, heres a partial tail conversion with custom moonroof brake light

i don't mind @ all dennis ..i've been meaning to post up video and more pics of these babies in action- just haven't gotten around to finding a way to host these videos properly. i did pay a pretty penny for these (not as much wanted for them now) but, after the install- it felt completely and totally worth every dollar! i have over 100 leds in each tailight, which are extremely visible in the day and night(same intensity). my tailight were constructed from a 97 tailght and have been customized not just for upgraded technology but, also the aesthetics have been improved for a more aggresive, complimentary look. Although these pics do it no justice, the tailights are bright red on top(brake) and very bright yellow on bottom...(turn signals-ala 92 tailight design function) they look very Digital in operation!!

I dunno what you guys mean, but 1100 dollars for a custom one off conversion is not a rip off...
If you think of it in mass produced terms..then of course..you can complain about every penny.

But for custom one-off work..you get what you pay for...
