i tried them once and after one month, i sold the hinges.......they're impractical, they are inconvenient in every way, and they suck from an "i've used them" standpoint.......the look doesn't bother me, but even with a good kit, a 100+ lb door will become a chore to open and close....and i'm pretty strong, so that's not it.....i'd never wear uncomfortable clothes to look cool, so i'm not gonna keep hinges that make it uncomfortable to open a door

 

what kit is that? ive been thinkin about getting it done for my car. I think it woudl look good. Any close up pics of the hidnge?

 

They look GREAT. very nice very nice. you know what.... thinking bout it..... if i had lambo doors on my sc.... i would do the same thing.... pump gas with two doors open..... for no damn reason...haha.

 

Looks good imo..now just trick out the exterior some more and it'll be even better ^_^

my thoughts exactly:
I like how it looks! I think cars such as the SC, RX7 and even the Supras with long-ish looking doors looks very sexy with this mod.

I know everyone says, " It belongs on a Lamborghin" etc. etc. Well, I have YET to see any car in-living-color with these doors, which means it's gonna stand out almost anywhere you go, and you are happy.

It's cool and with said, where in MD are you, I would like to see your car. Thanks.

I don't really care for the wheels, but I think the doors look pretty damn nice. Cars with longer doors (i.e. our very own SC coupe) do the best job with scissor doors... I freakin hate scissor doors on sedans (i.e. the Honda Civic ).

I don't think it's a mod that I'd like to spend my money on - I'm more for "function over form" - but they look good.
