i do like the doors, but for racing purposes they are not beneficial as I believe the door kit adds weight. I agree with the GS and ES guys, this whole thread is kind of embarrassing...

I reiterate: the doors look sweet.

I like 'em too. I would do it on mine if my IS350 were 2 doors.

Do the fronts one way and the rears the other. Kind of like a modern day suicide door setup.

note: to anyone wanting to do this to their car in the future, get the kit that is 90 degrees and has the door shock. A couple of my customers come into our shop with those half assed lambo door kits and they are hard as hell to open and just end up messing up the body. IMO, if its not 90 its not lambo, more like flamingo.

Default Lambo Doors

Why "I" think those doors look good is because the doors on the SC are long and lends itself to a nice long vertical look. They look good on the FDs also.

I have yet to see any car in person that has those doors.

So where in MD are you located? I would love to see it in person.

BTW~ I think they look awsome!

In MOST cases there is a certain amount of "coolness" in just having a different setup. Like one Moderator said. Were not talking about the chrome strip that some people like to put outside their wheel wells. Yuk!

I like the Scissor door kit on some cars other than Lambs but the setup looks cooler the more you can get the door to move straight up and down with out swinging outward too much.

I saw the kit on an Expedition and H2, silly looking IMO.

Lets face it the most people know those doors off the Lamborghini’s. So they tend to look best on some slick looking speedsters. Some SCs qualify. Like Ems.

Suicide doors The coolest ones I've seen was on the Marline Manson video. "Tainted Love"
I think it was an older Lincoln or a Caddy.

Cheers!

GT Factory kits go a full 90 degrees,
BUT SC doors are so tall its impossible to get them totally out of the way.
