As for the roof spoiler, i dont care too much for it.

One of the reasons Lexus was never introduced to Japan to start out with because there was not a market in Japan for Toyota to introduce a new name like there was in the US. The Toyota vehicles there always had all the same features/luxury items as would have been in a Lexus to start out with unlike the US where not all the features were availiable on cars, and yes this was before 1990.

When Lexus was introduced into the US it was in direct competition with Acura, and I don't believe the Toyota name could have competed as well with the Acura name even if they were the same cars.

Theres a lot of people in the US that don't realize the big companies behind the name like Acura/Honda, Infiniti/Nissan, etc.

I'd rock on if it layed down like this:

im curious to see more air-flow graphs(can't think of right name) on something like that M's spoiler after learning about the Vertex Generator on the Evo MR.

if the thing is really needed like they say it is, then it would seem like the M's spoiler should really be useless.

just wish there were more examples.

Oh, i like both, but unless my cars flat black it's at the bottom of the list.

Im going to go out on a limb here and guess that:
1) Your very new to this
2) You haven't done much research in to Japanese Soarer tuning

I assure you that this spoiler is strictly for looks.

-That should do it.

I found another picture of what looks to be the same spoiler:

This might have been an OEM factory option. I'm trying to find out.

Well, after a little more research, what the original poster saw on that Yahoo Auction Japan was the auction for the roof spoiler.

http://page12.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p39281812

Its a Yahoo Auctions store (much like an ebay store), they sell this for 29800 JPY, which is around $280. FRP (fiberglass) gelcoated, double-sided adhesive included. I'm trying to find out if they'll ship it here...
