No, I don't see what you mean by "RACE" wheels. They look like "FANS" to me. But I do know what you mean by "UGLY" wheels because the ones on the car are just that....UGLY. The HRE's are nice though. Too many spokes and too thin for my taste but definitely a nice wheel.

Where the hell is Acctis? He's been silent for almost three days now? What are you gonna do man?

Hoops - yeah, I'm not a fan of the HRE 549's (for the same reason you gave) but I love my 543's...

I think we scared Acctis away!

manaray...right now i have some 7 spoke chrome wheels on my SC, but i was thinking about gettin some racing wheels for my next set. I was looking at some white wheels on The Tire Rack just to get an idea. What do u recommend for a good racing wheel? I am thinking about just getting some OK white rims, but i love having the 7 spokes and not 1564352475569 spoked rims.

LOL. No, you didn't scare me away ... no such luck. The guy with the bad taste is still around.
What I am doing right now is to check which rims are easily available to me and street legal here in Switzerland. Here, any rim / car combination has to be certified by the DMV, so my selection is actually very limited.
But I still like the 'fan' type of wheels and I think that's what I will go for. I'll post the pics here as soon as I got the wheels ... could take some time though.

Thanks for all your opinions and input ... will try to take that into consideration as much as possible.

Default In die Schweiz

Now you have to get HRE brand tires since it has a Swiss symbol on it

Interesting to note that when I visited my relatives in Switzerland a few years back I saw a nice black SC400 and that very day I decided I wanted to buy one and then I did shortly after returning to the US.

Even more off topic I miss the August 1 parties out in the country with all the lanterns and fireworks.

Bis spater.

Default Huh?

I actually noticed the swiss flag on the rim ... need to check. How long have you been in Switzerland? Since 92, I have seen only 1 (yes, one) SC here!!!

And oh yes ... the 1st of August parties are real fun. Lots of people burning their houses . This time, about 15 buildings were distroyed

I saw one when I was in the neighborhood of the Augusta Raurica (Augst), the Roman amphitheater. They have a lot of estates around there with a lot of nice cars. It was on a 3 week visit some years ago.

Question Hey...

How about the L-Tuned GS400 OZ Salina 18 inch wheels? would the rears fit on my 93 SC400? they're 18x9.5. If not, anyone ever use spacers with these things?

MyLexusSC300 - if you like 7 spoke wheels, get the Rays/Versus Campionato SS7...they come in sizes up to 19" x 8"...see below

Most "race" wheels only come up to 18"...is that the size you're looking for or larger?
