Side skirt install question (JIC)

Side skirt install question (JIC)
I have a 92 SC400 and have just purchased JIC sides and rear off ChronoJ. This applies to other kits as well.
I'm having trouble with the skirts install. Do you have to remove the mouldings on the front fender and rear quarter? If so, how do they come off?
thanks guys

Get that sucka painted, I'd like to see how well it matches up with your Erebuni front lip...

Sides and rears...

Yeah, those bolts might be a bit rusty, so make sure you can get at them...take the time to unbolt them, not just tear them through the bolt holes, or you'll bend the fender metal a bit (but - even if you bend the metal, it'll be hard to notice)...

thanks guys! I had no idea there were bolts back there. I will take the time to remove them properly. For sure CleanSC4 I'm interested to see as well. Bodywork after xmas
I did some searching today and found lots of posts (mostly from Manaray) about which way the side skirts go. Its funny they will physically fit both ways but the fatter end goes at the back.
thanks everyone!

Man I love the JIC kit. Flows sooo smooth with the lines of the SC. Side skirt fitment is amazing. Rear lip is fitting great right now but I think I need to do more work on it and take my time. Pics to come when it stops raining and I can wash the car.
To install the sides you need to remove 3 pieces.
Front molding on the front fender - one 10mm behind the fender liner. It broke off on both sides so I had to vice grip it or dremel the nut off. It just pops off after that.
Black plastic trim. When you open the door its held in by two phillips screws and is the lower most plastic piece on the door area. Just pops off once screws are removed.
Rear molding on rear quarter panel. This one has 3 pop in plastic connectors. Just pry it off gently and it will pop off.
It had so much mud and dirt behind this stuff it was brutal. Do a very good cleaning so its not trapped behind your body kit.
