Well got it back from the shop today. Here's the reason why half my electronics fried inside my car.

Supposdly the guy who had the car previously had the windshield swapped out, and it seems like the seal wasnt on like it should have been on the driver's side. With the recent icing over in GA at the beginning of this year, the melted water ran down that part of the seal into the dash, which shorted out the wiring harnesses near the speedometer and climate controls.

So in short, the car sustained this water damage over a long period of time, and culminated with the burning out of the whole wiring harness attached to the speedometer and heater controls


I guess my question is how much does a windshield replacement usually cost? Or does anyone have any good prices on a car port I can buy to build up?
