What inspired you to get an SC?

Well if you had to look at, wash, detail, worship, sit in and pretend to drive your Dad's SC 400 for several years, wouldn't you jump at the chance to buy it?
The thing was off limits to me for so long that when Dad decided to let it go, I couldn't bear to see someone else drive off with it so I saved up some pennies and got it. Of course now he wants it back. Too bad Dad!
I loved it before owning it and now I own it and I can't be without her. Someone help me. I am obsessed with my SC and come Spring, I have some plans for her!

I too came from a 1st Gen GS300. I loved that car. It ran and looked great. When the time came for another car, I looked at 330's, G35's and Z's. But they all had one big problem. Everyone and their grandma had one. I prefer cars that are a little bit unique. Cars that you don't see at every intersection. I wanted a special car with power, looks and reliability. When I came across an '00 SC400. It was a no-brainer. I had to have it. V8 power in a sexy body that would run forever.

I fell in love with the Soarer ever since I saw one for the first time, I would've been about 11 or 12 years old haha.
As I kept researching though they were still expensive compared to similar aged Skylines etc. so it drove me away from them a little because of the price (never stopped loving them though!) but when I started shopping around for an R33 Skyline I didn't like it, I was warming to a Supra SZ non-turbo but then I saw a Soarer in another car dealership and the price was comparable with the Skyline I was previously looking at.
And all is history. I've owned 2 Soarers since then. Good power/acceleration for a stock car, timeless lines, built like a tank, gorgeous interior... what else do you need?
