Default Fog Light Wiring Question

Ok...so I just need to know which wire is the wire that supplies power to the fog light? The Red or the Black? Also if i want to tap power from an existing fog light then all i need is one 12V wire correct? thanx

Ok, This is a fairly easy ?.....

That leads me to ask you if you have done any automotive wiring? If not then check out some of the info at the other site I posted this week: the12volt.com


Now.... What color would you associate with something being hot? Take that wire, put your hot lead from the VOM to it and the other lead to a ground point on the car. Have someone activate the fog light. If you have voltage then that is your 12v +.

Or, just check the FSM.

If you can't figure this out then post back. I'd rather teach you to fish.....

Black is normally ground. Red is positive 12V.
