I've always wanted to go road racing and I finally did it today at Willowsprings. It's such an adrenaline rush. There were tons of Evos, WRX's, S2000, etc. Most cars out there were way faster than mine. My SC is basically stock with some Espelir/Tokico.

I've got in-car videos (thanks to Tony), but I need to figure out how to edit them first. Any suggestions?

damn im getting really jealous. Ive autox my old car before tons of times, when the racing season starts back up ill be racing my sc400 for the first time and i CANT WAIT to hit up a road course. I bet you had a blast, good job representing lexus

 

Willowsprings? Is that in california? I really want to do something like that. How much did it cost you? Do you need a special license or something? How long can you stay on the track?

did u tape them blue?

why do people do that? Reflection issues?

 

I think you have to tape them so they won't shatter.

 

lots of pebbles, 'marbles' and debris on the track pop up onto glass and crack 'em.

 

Yup, willowsprings is near Lancaster, Ca. I went with www.speedventures.com You can go to their website to check prices. If it's your first time going, I would recommend getting an instructor...it's helpful. You don't need a special license. I think I got over 2hrs of track time total. There were about 5 sessions of track time, each lasting about 20-30min. Time flies though when you're out on the track.

Get some advan racing compounds, coilovers, get some weight reductions, and then take those other cars!
