Hi, I'm in NJ, and I believe it's illegal to have tinted window on driver's side and passenger side.
I just got my car and it's all tinted and looks nice. But I need to pass state inspection, so I'm thinking to remove the tint. Have you guys done it before? You know how much does it take?

I have removed tint from car windows multiple times. It isn't to difficult to do the side windows but the rear window is a ***** unless you don't care about your rear window defroster. Using a razor blade will take the defroster off also unless you are extremely careful.

Thanks for your response!. I only need to remove driver's side and passsenger side. I dont have to do the rear windows. I just contacted the local shop and told me that they will charge $60 to do the job.
Is it something easy to remove them myself? I'm just afraid of scratching the glasses.
I wish I can keep the tint on....NJ sucks
