Talking IS300 Steering Wheel Upgrade

Feels much lighter and easier to grip than the 4-spoke stocker.

looks good - what did you do about the air bag?

EDIT: also does cruise and all that still work?

Thanks guys.

Single stage airbag off an '02 (I think), got it on eBay.
Swapped out the cruise control switch with the SC one.
I used Toyota # 09082-00760 airbag adapter harness, plug and play into the SC connector.
Stitching I'm not sure of, it just came that way.

does the tilt motor still work?

also will the IS auto steering wheel work too or only the manual on the SC?

Tilt still works. If your talking about the shift buttons, no it doesn't work.

Looks fantastic What did the wheel project cost in total if you don't mind me asking (adapters, extras, wheel, etc)?

Default Looks like my 2000 wheel

Nice, The steering wheel in the 2000 SC I just bought looks like that - except it has perforated leather on the grip and no silver accent to the L.

I would like to either replace the one on my 93 with one like mine or the IS. Very nice find.

Adapter was $20ish. I'd recommend that adapter, it will eliminate the need to splice airbag wires.
