Torque converter is best thing you can do to a stock sc4. get a dragon torque converter and a trans cooler. Price on both will be somewhere near the $1000 range, plus labor of course. Another nice upgrade is a Supra TT auto Torsen differential. Next to impossible to find used, you need what i believe is 94-96 model year, twin turbo, auto, its a 3.73 gear i think. Price new is around $1600. Its a bolt on replacement for your stock diff. No modifications required. Stock HP is 250hp with 260ft-lbs torque, but i think your year had a clutch driven fan instead of a electric, which drains a little more hp than 95+ making those years a bit faster while using an identical engine.

to answer the question earlier yes the biggest i would go is 17".. i don't like anything bigger than that, i just don't. And from what i read the est. 1/4 time is 15.4, i would rather be in the 14s i would be more than happy in the 14s so if doing what you said to do to it will get me there.. hell i'm happy.

lol 17 is my favorite number.. but thats beside the point. I just don't like alot of wheel, not my thing. I was also reading about people having a hard time finding headers and such for the car...? And as far as superchargers and turbos go i suppose i'm going to have to but the actual item them make it fit somehow.... *sigh* Anyway what can i do to get it to like 14.5 in the 1/4?

Nothing wrong with wanting nothing larger than 17's. I personally would only go 18's. It's all about personal modification for what makes you happy!
Plus, you'll get a little better acceleration with smaller diameter rims!
Headers are tough for the SC4. We had a group buy here for some custom headers being built for the 1UZ. They take a while to get though as each one is hand built. The jury is out on the gains though.
A full manifold back exhaust, BFI (or other intake), and a, in tune vehicle should start you down the right path. Add a higher stall speed torque converter and a LSD rear with some higher gears in it and 14.5 should be no problem.
