dude, I know exactly how u feel. I crashed my s14 the first time on the streets in a traffic jam and gathered enough money to fix it back up...a month later, although this time would've been preventable, on mt. wilson in Socal (nototrious for late night togue runs and bike runs in the morning)...All this within 8 months.Although I loved my car, I had to let it go. Not only does a crashed car loose its handling, no matter how well its fixed back up.. Just sitting in it kinda gives u an uneasy feeling IMO..but I moved on and bought my Sc3 and lovin it . Take some time off from the car scene, don't let it get u down, get urself another, watever it may be

Take note of my sig. I'm on my 3rd Lex...guess what..the damage you see you these cars is for one reason...S A F E T Y!! That's why the occupant compartment looks fine. Here's a pic of my '96 ES300 (take note of where the car seat is...my daughter was not even 2 yrs old & a '97 Chevy Tahoe hit my (pregnant) wife & daughter). They were shook up, but think of it, the car is giving it's life for you . I also totalled a '92 SC400, and now have a '96 SC400. Like all are saying here, take it easy for a bit, let the insurance handle it (that's why you pay for it!!). And in a few you'll be ready for another one...just take 'er easy

damn man... I've been in my share of accidens and trust me when i say that, right now, you may not want to think of building another car, but a month or two down the line you are gonna regret letting the car go (if you do let it go) ... Save it, and build another one with this one's parts, so that it lives on.
Just be glad that you are ok and don't be too hard on yourself. Everything in life happens for a reason.

To everyone who always wanted an SC like this, what can I say? You should have ended up with it instead of me. I will be signing off of Club Lex as I don't think I will get another. If the insurance offers the car for sale I will post it here to let someone who wants to do an engine, tranny, and rear end swap. Drive safe everyone.
Yea i'm an idiot.

this stuff happens everyday.....its called an accident for a reason.
just think how the guys feel that total Enzo's and Lamboghini's..........they just turn around and buy another. You should do the same.!!
