i took out the carpet and preparing the carbon fiber piece that goes in the dash...

tony, that wood piece wasn't cooperating with me......
the left side of it was snugged in there.....i had to use a bit of force to yank it out !!! lol
i need to buy more SEM black paint.....used 4 cans and ran out...

That is great! I have wanted a white SC4 for some time, but I promised myself I would never buy another car w/out black leather..... this past weekend I broke down and bought a white '99 SC4. Now I'm stuck with the tan, may have to convert to black in the future....

looking good. my car looks similar to that except there is nothing in mine at all just a bunch of wires and metal. i hope i can get this thing back together right. i want some farbon ciber

another day of work.....


put the grey carpet on....


installed the dash piece and glovebox. still dirty though...
i wasnt too careful on the carbon fiber and dropped it on the floor. it made a scratch and one of the center vents had little crack........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr


...and put the center console . noticed anything? i steam cleaned the carpets.....

Dude, I'm totally impressed with the dedication you have in making the interior change. The only concern I might have is how well the parts will fit together and if you will have lots of squeaks and rattles once everything is put together.

Have you calculated the man hours involved? I'm sure it's more than 40 hours so far.

i started the project last sunday and continued to work on it 2 hrs during weekdays.
it does not take long at all as long as you know what you're doing.
i've take some interior parts before so, this is not my first attemp.
im 100% sure there will be no "rattles" once the project is done....

are you gonna purchase all the little misc. trim pieces in black or paint them as well?? what about the seatbelts??

im painting all my window trims, pillar mounts in BLACK.
unfortunately, i am stuck with my tan seat belts but will order some grey ones along the run.
