Question Best size tires for rims on the SC?

What tire sizes do you guys recommend for 18X8 in the front and 18X9 in the rear on a SC400/ Tires now are 225/40/ZR18 in the front on the 18X8 and 265/35/ZR18 on the 18X9 in the rear. I have the option right now to change the fronts right now what do you guys think? I have understeer (push) right now and want more neutral or oversteer. Thanks for any help

You want a wider in front to minimize the understeer. On a 8" wide rim you can go up 245 without pinching the tire.

225 and 245

245 on 8" on the front rubbed like a b i t c h for me. The tire will bulge making your clearance even worse. Depends on your tire choice too.

Cool

Was Looking at going 255/45/ZR18. Do you think the side wall is to tall? Tirerack says these can fit a 8" wide tire depending on the tire. Any thing to look for? Also how are you rubbing with a 245? I have 265 in the back and I have heard of people running much larger tires in the front without issues? Explain and thanks for the help

It depends on your offsets. 245 on the front is perfect on an 8" front wheel. I'd go a tad bit wider but thats just me. Also if you purchase blackwalled tires you wont have that bulging problem. Khumo Tires are great.
