Default Any pics of SC's with welds? or what do you drag on?

I've been searching the forums for pics of SC's on drag rims (hey i've searched, maybe i'm the first one to do that, woo hoo!)

Anyways, after not finding pics, i ask if anyone has pics of SC's on drag rims, preferably weld draglites?. Any other drag pics would help too, but i'm looking at a set of draglites and i think that they would look better than prostars on a sc.

If anyone is super bored, i would love a photochop of the vertex soarer sitting on weld draglites

Let's see some pics!!!

I used to run a CCW drag setup (16"), Part of last year I ran a set of Monocoque drag wheels. This year I'll most likely be using a set of either Bogarts or Weld alumistars.

Got any new vids? Your car is the car that inspires me to get an SC!

Any idea what backspacing we need to run? i'm looking at 15x3.5's and 15x8's. I think the supra's use a 7bs but i know they are a little different than the sc's.

The backspacing should be exactly the same as the supra which I believe is 7.5
I've taken them off a drag supra and they fit just fine. These were 15" wheels with a 28" slick. I have rolled fenders (needed to run a 28") and they will ever so slightly rub on the inside fender if your springs are too low. i had to jack up my coilovers up a tad to prevent this.

koffeblack, thank you for the kind words. It's already awesome to hear about being able to inspire others through my own journey!

not really any other vids since I popped the motor at the end of the season. but look for plenty more in 06.

flossn, you can see the mixed setup I have in this video, ccw front runners and monocoque rears.

This is with rear weld alumastars and 28" tire.

I'd really like a set of weld magnum drags, I think the gold w/ silver lip would look great on my black car.

My friend's supra uses CCW wheels for the rear. If I were ready for dragging I'd use them too. The tires he is using are Mickey Thompson Slicks. If Im not mistaking the CCW size 16x10. The tires on the rear Volks were 285 so these were about the same width.
