Swapping TT Supra engine in my Sc400
Hey guys
I am planning on replacing my 1UZ-FE with a 4sp auto that has 150K miles with.....a TT Supra engine with a 5sp. Which model supra engine is most desireable/efficient to swap? My car is a 1993. Below is a link to a page about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

It will be alot of work converting your car to manual, but it can be done. I know some one local here who swapped a 1JZ and converted his SC400 into a manual 5-speed. He said the work was quite extensive. As that saying goes, if you got the money - anything can be done.
I'm guessin' you're new around here....so use that search button. You'll find sooo much useful information....that should narrow down your questions....

Anything from 1993 and on is pretty good. Have you done your research on what parts you will be needing and stuff like that? I think for the SC4 you need to redo the motor mounts. To swap in that 5speed you have to know how to bypass the neutral start which im still trying to figure out for my car. If you are going to be boosting you might want to get the 5speed differential as well for wider gears. Well anyway welcome to the club and let us know how it goes. Goodluck.
