Opinions.... Sc with kit.... Turbo needed??
Wondered......
Whats your opinions on bodykits....
Does it have to be fast (ie:turboed ) to "rock it" properly???
I ask because if i keep an SC I am thinking of a kit but not into engine modding
and stuff (not mechanically inclined with motors)...

Personally, I think that it depends somewhat on the kit.
With a JIC kit, yes, with AC, no... JIC has an edge that AC doesn't. A boomex kit or Vertex in my mind definately does. The 97 update is 100% classy no matter how fast you go, IMO.
Also, being an SC300 also creates some expectations for it being fast -- the SC400 is more the ride for a kit & wheels in my mind.
Then again, I've been told I have a sick and twisted mind, so take it for what it's worth

Spruce, go with the 97 update. That's my suggestion.
I agree with what JT and Sherwin said though. Depends on the kit. I hate poor fitment issues like you wouldn't believe, so for me most kits are a no-no. I settled on the 97 update, OEM fit with no problems whatsoever. The front is finished, now I just have to complete the rest of the car.
But it's all about what your goals are. If you want it to look fast but not go fast that's your choice. If you wanted to build a sleeper that's also your choice.
Me knowing you, and us being somewhat alike, I think the 97' would suit you just fine. Unless you have specific kits in mind that you're contemplating?
