hey guys I haven't actually purchased one yet but I'm really close and I figured it would be good to ask you guys what to look for(good/bad) when buying one. how many miles do they usually last? common problems? stuff like that. Was maybe even thinking of getting a 400 instead but I'd really like to put a 2JZ-GTE engine in an sc300 down the road and have a bad *** sleeper. I haven't found much about what you can do with the 400 besides supercharge it. I don't know much about these engines(I'm a honda guy) but I want to know more. i'm lookin forward to movin up from honda. I'd appreciate your opinions.

well an early welcome to the lexus club- and good luck in your search- if i was you i would get a sc300- it just has more options in moding if thats your thing which it sounds like in your post- if you just wana sc and dont really care for the modding aspect( ) id get a sc400- but whatever you choose you will love it- thats our Guarantee to you - but anyhoo look forward to seeing your sc in the near future peace
