[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Sup guys, I just got a 97 Black Lexus SC400, I was going to keep it clean and stock, but I can't resist other SC400's being all nice and stuff, so I decided to make it a project car. I've been reading around the threads, and I have to say that they are very impressive and informative. I haven't used the search yet, but I plan to, once I encounter any problems, and if I can't find any, I hope you guys can answer my question! 
. This weekend, I'm going to order my HIDs and clean the headlight-housing.
Thanks for the thread about the DYI for popping out the headlight housing OLT. Appreciate it.
I'm getting a deal for $250 for a HID kit. Does anyone know where I can get it for cheaper? I'll probably use the search button in a bit to recheck if anyone already posted it, but if anyone can reply to this thread, that would be cool. Thanks! That's all for now.

Yes, you can usually find answer to just about every question here......
I have only read a little bit about the HID conversion, but I think 250 is like dirt cheap if I'm not mistaken

Hey David. Welcome to the club. What part of California are you from? I have a friend who is also a member here who knows of a guy that sells them for around $200. Ive seen them on my friends SC400 and they look great. Im planning on getting some soon when I get my tax returns. If you are interested maybe we can meet up and we'll take you to his shop where he sells them so you can take a look.

Cool, I'm from San Jose, I attend UC Davis at the moment.. Hook me up with some info Jspec! 200 is a good price... I'm wondering if I can pick them up this weekend!

A little about me, I'm from Northern California, San Jose =P, I traded in my ES300 to get my SC 400 with my parents. They own a wrecking yard and if any of you need any parts, send me a message and i'll see if I can get you for a little cheaper than any other place (if you're from the bay area). If you live in the bay area, post in this thread so we can help each other out ! =P thanks!
