I'd like:

Something for a one touch sunroof and passenger window.

A special combination of buttons to enable the motor to start (like someone already said.)

The driver's seat to move forward when released, like the passenger's.

I'm sure there's some more. There are some good ideas in this thread.

Would you be willing to program these things before sending them to customers, or is it even possible?

I'm all for the automated power windows. My girl's Rav4 even has auto up windows! A remote open everything function (windows and sunroof) would be nice. Also a remote trunk opener. One touch full open or close function for the sunroof, too. Lacking these functions really does date the car somewhat. I thought the auto down reverse pass. side sideview was cool, but all it does is annoy me in my MB. But I guess with this device, we can include it or exclude it!

YES. Timed relays are also included in the PLC's as well as counters. They can count up or down and can also accept intelligent input such as a certain number of signals to trigger a certain response. (5 taps of a switch or ten taps, etc..)

i like the whole auto up when locking idea, as well as the mirrors moving down when in reverse. the timer for shut off would be cool too with like a 30 sec. delay.

ill be the first to ask how difficult the install would be.... seeing as you would have to tap into all the modules and whatnot.

You pretty much answered your own question.

I just want to make a PLC do something with all it's capabilities at hand and nothing being done. It's a bit advanced for someone else to try and do or install.

you can probably integrate "parental controls" into it too i guess, say if speed reaches 75-80mph the fuel is cut off untill speed goes down under 75
not that you or i would do it, just an option

this unit will require some major wiring/re-wiring tho

OLT - Is it possible you can summarize what CAN be done out of the above suggestions? That way we could cut the clutter down?
