1994 sc300 fully loaded with heated seats, TRAC - value?
hey everyone, I am deciding to buy an SC, and there is one that I saw that is the blueish/greyish color, I believe it is stock from Lexus. I don't see many people with this color, I don't mind it, but have yet to see nice ones in that color. I want to know what people's opinion is about the color, and how much the car would approx. or should go for. (the car has been painted, 2 years ago, interior has some minor blemishes, and a snag in the driver's seat. All the needles work, but the left door panel has a slight crack on the top.
SPECS:
1994 SC 300 with heated leather seats & TRAC
138k miles
$6000
is it worth it? any inputs would be great.

yes he did repaint it the stock color. its that some blueish/greyish color from lexus I believe. I'm not seasoned in buying cars, and have no experience with this car, so I don't want to get ripped off from this guy. I have spent a good amount of time reading up on the car, but most guys selling a car to a girl will probably try to rip'em if they can... no offense to the good fellas out there. but I have been looking for a while, in southern california, and its rather difficult to find a good one with decent miles.

Fully loaded would be with a 12 CD changer, not a 6, like mine which is a FULLY LOADED 1994 SC300 . I have no intention of selling mine though, although with just 102,000 miles I could probably get a good chunk of change for it. I'll never sell it
I'd say it would be a "worth it" deal if you can get her under $5500. Given a 2 year coat of paint, which should be in great condition.

I'd be careful, my buddy bought a 92sc4 that looked almost new. Turns out it was macco'd and 6 months later the guy had a boat load of trouble even though he paid more for the "immaculate paint"

I think it's lil too expensive, also paint job doesn't look right!!!!!!!!!!!1
If you're serious about buying this one, take it for inspection to Lexus dealer at least.
Good luck with your purchase, don't rush- take your time
I say $4500.00- 5G's at the most, also have engine, trans and suspention checked for any leaks and looz parts, oh don't forget ask about timing belt

If you like the color - go for it. It is hard to find a clean good running car. Milage is ok for a CA car.
Also, since it is a CA car it will be rust free, which certainly is worth a premium over cheaper rust buckets in from other states.

Just take it to your mechanic and have him check it out....and I would bet you could get it for $500 off, everybody is willing to come down when selling a car. Good luck and Welcome to CL
