Default Weird vibration

I have a auto 92 sc400 1jz, car in the morning idles at 2k then slowly goes down, not sure if thats normal but hey thats what im here for. When driving in stop and go traffic around 1100-1200 rpm my car vibrates like a mother *****er, but after i go to like 1300+ or below 1k its fine. Does any1 else have this prob?

Were new motor mounts used with the 1J swap? If not........

Also, tranny mounts.

Im not sure about the mounts, ima have to check those, but also when i turn on my ac the virbrating is crazy, i mean i told my gf to hop on the ***** shifter and she would have a time of her life thats how bad it is lol. Weird thing is after i get above 1.5k its pretty much fine.

Thats what im saying man i knew she loved the car but damn! lol, im just trying to fig out what it is. Im deff going to check on the mounts and get back to u on that, any1 else have an idea?

I'm still leaning towards the mounts. Especially when you say it gets worse with the compressor on. More rotating assemblies shaking the engine. That coupled with the fact that it flattens out at higher rpm's. That's my theory at least.

let us know after you check the mounts. If it's not those we'll have to brainstorm some other ideas.


Hey Niraj, dig yourself out of the 25+ inches you got out there??
