Default 97' Factory Wing Nuts 'N' Boltz

One of the nuts that holds my (97 Factory) wing disapeared, I cant see the other bolts (cause they're black (like the car) Does anyone know what size they are, and do I need to torque them down to a certing spec??? Do I need a certin "Thread" size. I have a simple socket set, and none of my stuff fits....Standard and Metric

I've done the search above....can't find anything, unless I'm not using the right "keywords".

Any insight from the masters????

Do you have a pic? Check behind the boot lining for the bolt locations is all I can really suggest.

Yea, I kinda just went at it...found the missing bolt under my spare (not sure how it even got down there) I tightened it to what I felt was tight and and not too tight to crack anything important.

I'm just really paranoid about this car. Not wanting to mess it up.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Sounds like you got it! just a suggestion, you might want to invest 150 bucks or so on a Craftsman socket set

Yea...that's kinda what i did......Bought some metric sockets!!!
I think I'm going to remove the wing and clean under there. Do a good coat of wax, make sure the rubber gasket/seal is OK....

On my SR20 240 the wing caused cancer to the back of my deck lid.....not good, Beat some punk in a Camaro only to show you got all sorts of rust...

I do miss the car......But soon......SC300 will kill all!!!!
