Put down the deposit for my new SC300 earlier tonight, picking it up in a week. Here's a picture that should suffice for now

Nah, not a 5-speed. I've taken enough of them off the market already in the past year
Its a 1995, automatic, very very clean. It has the usual small issues with it that most SC's have. The guy I am buying it from has owned it since 1995 and has taken excellent care of the car. Best part was the price though, only $2,900.
Just like when I picked up my 5-speed SC for $2,000 I just found this one on dumb luck. Once in a while I would look on Autotrader for SC's and yesterday afternoon I found this gem only 2 hours away from me. The guy has posted the ad online at 2pm, and we had a deal set by 4:30. When I got there tonight he said he had about 7 other people behind me in line wanting the car, but he stuck by his word and held it for me.
For right now I'm not sure what I am going to do with it. Seems 1JZ prices have gone up a ton in the past 6 months, so I may just got 2JZ-GTE this time. I need to figure out what I am doing with the IS300 though, keeping or selling. What I think I might do is sell the IS and get an older civic for my DD, then be able to take my time on fixing up the SC.
Oh, anyone have TT wheels for sale?

aww, u ***
i'll just have to race you to get the civic (if it's the same kind i want)
btw, 1jz prices still seem pretty fair to me
although the motor sets are up, STI is still selling at great prices IMO, and they just got in a 94 or 95 green clip, auto that's there for $1400+shipping......do it, do it

well, we all know its about time! as i said earlier on the phone... its great to have you back matt. i am personally making sure that this one doesnt have the same fate as the last 2. and if it does, then ill hire someone to handle the situation with matts but whipin. i also dont think we are going to try to pull another motor out of a clip and do a complete swap in 2 days so you can drive 400 miles only to kill the car in a week. oh, and its time for a new sig... dont forget to add the black 5speed you had for a few hours.
