Cut out cross bars
I have a 92 sc300 and I am thinking of cutting out the cross bars on the front bumper. Does anyone have pics of this done?

All for you:
I just went over to that member's house, cut out the outer 2 cross bars, and took this pic as I made my getaway:

If I decide to cut my cross bars I'm going to cut, sand, bondo, sand, and touch up paint.

You can see where he cut it, there is a black spot there, he has not touched it up yet.

Aren't those cross members used for anything structurally/functionally for safety in the event of a frontal collision in the 92-94 bumpers? I thought I remember reading something about that and that's why a lot of people didn't do it?
Anyway, what is the procedure for doing something like this? What did you use to cut it with and how did you smooth everything out afterwards?
Cutting out the main cross bards + the outer 2 cross bars makes that bumper look aftermarket
Melikes.

I doubt the cross bars do a whole lot for structural purposes. I was waxing my car the other day and noticed that the cross bars were very thin.
