Autocouture vs. Vertex. Which is lower?
i'm picking between the autocouture full body kit and the vertex full body kit but i have one problem, my driveway. right now im tryin to get as many inches as i can so that i can slam my sc. does anyone know which one is lower? i want vertex but im scared its too low.
more importantly for those that know, how many inches is the vertex front from the ground on stock suspension?
thanks guys.

id say the vertex is wayy lower than the autocoture but i srcape my front bumper already and its a stock 97 bumper at stock height so no matter what you do, prepare to be taking those hills extremely slow

I think it might depend also on what type of suspension and wheel size you will be using. Ive seen guys here with their Vertex fronts sitting as low as 1in off of the ground to about 3" on some lowering springs. But the Vertex front definetly sits lower than the AutoCouture front. If your driveway is sloped then you can drive your car in at an angle so you dont scrape or crack anything.

i say that the vertex kit is "easier" to get scrape coz first it is a deeper and second the lip on the bumper extend out quite a bit, and that's the problem for me. but if u put 18' or 19's it will be better.

well.. as i sit now, i have 4 inches off the ground, now if i wanted to i could slam it and have literally only 1-2 inches off the ground. obviously this ain't so great for a daily driver. i think the vertex hangs lower at the sides, rear of front bumper. at the front of the front bumper, the AC is pretty much flat horizontal whereas the vertex curves upward, prolly to help with the lower rear of the front bumper.
Vertex sits lower i believe.
