My First Lexus
Hi Everyone! I Just Purchased My First Lexus....92sc400.....it Has 102,000 Miles......in The Past I Drove A 76 2002 Bmw....a 80 Saab Turbo...and An 88 Saab Turbo Spg........i Traded My 95 Acura Legend In For "ruby"....all I Can Say Is Wow!
Here Is The Question I Payed 10,900..with A 5,000 Trade. My Question Did I Get Taken ?

for $15,900 i would have to agree... thats a lot for a 92 with 100k.............. unelss, its in perfect showroom condition with a huge stack of records... then its not as bad.
if you only paid $5,900 out of pocket, then thats not too bad as long as its in great shape.

Well you did pay a bit more than "we" would being interweb savvy, but in RL you'd be surprised what people who don't do much interweb work will pay for a 92 SC. (local sales FTW)

Congrast on the new car. I bought my '92 with 100K on the clock too about 2.5 years ago.
I think you could have gotten a better deal to be honest with you. But you do have a great car.
I hope the maintainance has been done on it, including the common problems that occur with this car.

Wait till you go and do some engine repairs or mods, I'm glad I got the SC300.
There's your big difference,
If you only payed 10,900 with the trade, you might have done o.k. The dealership may have had a lot of room to play with trade in money with the SC.

but all the negativity aside..welcome to the club and i know you will love your SC.. its by far my favorite of all the cars i've owned and think you will feel the same...good luck with "RUBY"..
