it really cracks me up that it wasnt included on the earlier cars but the hole for it and the smaller holes that just so happened to match up with the attachment tabs were there...like they planned to add it as an "option" or new upgrade in newer cars later

wait.. i bought my 1992 sc300 5spd used and it came with a cupholder.. does that someone added it on?.. AND also was the moonroof an option in the 1992 SC's? (off topic)

I bought a special mounting bracket for the cupholder slot. It has a generic mounting bracket that faces the driver position. Usually my GPS is mounted to it, but the cell phone and Ipod mounts do well there too.
