I'm an old cat on this forum and haven't posted in 2-3 years.
Excuse the crappy pictures. I know some of the older Norcal members.

My High Beams are also blacked out and have custom LED rings in there...
My fogs are LED amber clusters. Both courtesy of clear corners dot com

Here is my custom two toned leather from Connelly(Bentley leather).

I would have to say OEM retrofits are the way to go. I've gone through 6
plug/play HID "kits" from Katz, Hella, K2, etc etc... My bmw 5-series
retrofits are the best overall.

Blackout headlights are awesome. I love mine and they give the car a mean look..especially w/blacked out sidemarkers..smoked tails and very dark tinted windows.

So yeah, I got pulled over for my smoked tails today... Need to get different tail lights since mine are actually painted

... What do you guys think of the tails they're selling with these headlights now as a package? (my car's black BTW)

ummm..i think the headlights looks nice..i want to see them on a black sc..cuz im thinkin about getting them too..then about the tails....ehhhhh...not so much..but since u got pulled over for the smoked tails i think its a rather good deal for a temporary fix until u can get better tails..then once u install the headlights..take pix! cuz i wanna see how they look

I once liked the "Altezza" lights on the SC. I have yet to see a black SC with the black "Altezza" lights though. Perhaps it will look good. I'm going OEM for my tails.

After I get the black halo headlights from Ebay, I'm painting my high beam housings black to match. I'm debating on either the 95-96 tail lights or the 97-00 tail lights. I'm definitely torn between the two.

kyoso your tails look great, it's a shame you got pulled over for them. Go with stock tails or something, don't get the altezzas.

I think the package is pretty decent. The headlights ive seen for about $349 and the package is about $399. You could buy the package and then just sell the tails for a few bucks. Tails alone are about $200.

What about these headlights? These look to be the most tasteful EBay ones I've seen for our cars.

EDIT: I guess they're the same as all of the others that have been posted, in one picture it didn't look like it had all of the same bells and whistles and looked more low key.

I explained to the officer that I thought I was OK since my third brake light in the spoiler is still red, hence marking the rear, but he said there has to be (2) lights back there for it to be legit. Any other ideas about what I could do without having to change out my tails? I really like them the way they are.

I'm getting those f'n headlights though. They look great installed if you ask me.
