Default Spruce Interior Question

Evening, All!

Just wondering if anyone knows if spruce interiors are ALL spruce, or some spruce/grey. Can't tell if my carpet is just aged, but it looks more grey than green (although slightly tinged green) and it seems there are some grey accents in my car. Just wondering if the interior has already been replaced with another color.. Anyone know the original color config?

Also, anyone try the leathermagic products for our car interior color? It looks like they have matching OEM colors for leather and vinyl repair.

I am not sure about the color. But you might want to try steam cleaning your carpets and mats and that will get them really close to your original color.

Great question. I have the same interior and it seems to be a mixture of grey and spruce. Since I am in the process of restoring the interior this is very timely for me. It appears that if you have the silver spruce exterior you get spruce on black and the green exterior vehicles get spruce on grey.

Here's a pic of the interior of my '92 SC400. The exterior is dark green. The floor mats were purchased from Lexus a couple of years old and as you can see are basically grey.

Yes this is my interior as well. Notice the color difference betweeen the center console body and the dash leather. If you look down through the center of the winsheild you can see that the console body might be grey. I have been looking for parts and spruce is getting very hard to find. Discontinued in many cases. Are youy guys seeing this? Thanks

I see your in BC as well. How much were the new floor mats? Makes a big difference in restoring an older car.

I have the "gray" interior in my car. I counted at least 6 different shades of it on various different pieces.

They were about $140 US. I bought them from the Lexus dealer in Lynnwood, WA because at the time the matts weren't available in Canada. I called Jim Pattison Lexus and the one in Lynnwood today and the matts in the spruce color have since been discontinued. Apparently they are only available in black or taupe now. Good luck finding them, let us know if your successful.

The silver spruce cars have the charcoal grey upper dash and window trim.. not black...

The silver spruce cars also had silver spruce mats which are currently discountinued so just buy grey. The floor carpet is grey...

The door panels, glove etc. are really silverspruce but grey matches very closely... It is VERY difficult to restore the interior to spruce since the color was scratched from the line up in 1994..

Go grey or mix and match with black

Im going to two tone my interior. My garnet car is 1992 and the interior is getting a little faded from the years in the FL sun. My Spruce "gray" interior is at least 6 different shades on all the parts. The front middle dash is still a greenish color tho. Soon to be black

Vj- I have just purchased a brand new console piece in spruce and they sent me black. If you are interested in a swop . Lets do it. I am looking for the greenish color. Also I have checked on the center console bodys and they are available in medium grey. Anyone have a pic of this color in their car? Thanks guys

Hmm that's not a bad price for the OEM floormats... I think I'm going to use my Lexus points from the Lexus credit card towards black mats when I finish doing my black interior conversion
