Two for the Show:
Only Lexus has achieved this high a level of quality in car making (read Chester Dawsons Book:The Relentless Pursuit). In addition you get REAL California walnut trim not injected plastic as on my former Q45. Best quality leather, etc.
My old LS400 gave its life to save mine. At 137,000 miles it was tighty tight tight.
Enter my search for my next Lexus..hmm don't need a sedan anymore (wife has 99LS), like to tour long distance, want style, enough performance to "break it loose", and "no worries" as to breakdowns.
Sooo..The SC 400 Im pickin up Monday is perfect for the job.
It's lo miles (70k) and has all its records since new, and they're clean. Stock except for a kit.
If you dont like the body kit, don't put one on. I'm not doing any drifting, but you can if you want.
It's just not the best tool for that job. I won't pick fights with other makes either. But I would love to race my friends (not driving a lex) to a 600 miles any direction run for a case of cali wine.
I like SC 's any SC's. Stock is Cool, Mad Mod is cool too. You can have it all with an SC.
Rock on, Long Live the SC. Keep em clean, restored and rollin'.
(But, I AM saving for the LF-A 'should have enough $ in 15 years or so!!)

Lexus Champion
What's really needed is some perm and temporary bans for some of these new jokers. I think that will get the point through their thick skulls.
This is probably the worst I've seen the forums.

Personally, I can care less if the SC becomes the "so called" next 240...Why should I care what other people think of my car or how it might reflect on my self-image....My car drives smooth, runs strong and looks fantastic....It's been keeping me happy for 4 plus years and still going strong...Heck, it's been more reliable than any female I've been with....For that, I don't see myself selling my SC anytime in the near future....
As for the SC community, no matter how bad it might potentially get, we can always make the best out of every situation....We're here to educate, motivate and appreciate...
