Have XBOX forza? an an automatic stock SC300?
And ever wondered how your car would stack up against your digital car oponents in any given track say nurburgring?
Unfortunately our cars are not in the game... so .. we have to find a close substitute... a quick browse through the game and you will find that there is only one option..
So we have to build a car that performs much like our own!
This rule applies to 1992-1997 SC300s.
So here it is broken down into steps.
Step 1. Buy IS300
Step 2. Buy full race adjustable transmission.
Step 3. Adjust gears to the following.
FD 4.08
1 2.80
2. 1.53
3. 1.00
4. 0.70
5. 0.70
Step 4. Paint your new "SC300" to your car's current color.
Step 5. Drive with these 3 rules in mind.
A. When launching you cannot launch more then 2,000 rpms, easiest way to do this is by launching midway around 4,000 rpm while holding brakes, the car will bog down to about 2,000 rpms on the dot.
B. You cannot manually down shift into 1st from 2nd unless you go below around 25 mph. Just like in the real car will not let you do this.
C. For most accuracy you should do the shifting yourself.
This will make the forza version of your "SC300" (IS300) Drive and perform Id say about 95-98 percent accurate to an actual SC300, the only inaccurace is in the drag strip the virtual version will always be slightly faster ( 3-4th tenths of a second.) due to the fact that the IS300 is about 250 lbs lighter. But on the roll on the track the feeling on the game is extremely close to how the SC300 feels to me on the track, again with the exception that the virtual car is slightly lighter from a stop.. about the same from a roll though

Now you can experience how bad youll be spanked by say.. that NSX, corvette or Ferrari in the actual track! Or how you stack against the lower end cars! (not to bad actually, like how ill stack against my 240sx im putting together now for example?!?) Or cars your friends have!
If theres enough demand Ill post other gear ratios for other 1st gen SC's but then again this has been a geek moment brought to you by yours truly! :P
