yeah, if you were me, and you had 2600$ what would you buy for your sc300? (keep in mind that its a 5 speed - so NO TORQUE CONVERTER!)
ok im looking into things, my best choice is probably gonna be to just save my money for a turbo. so id just like to hear what some other people would do if they had 2600$ to spend on their car.
thanks

I would save up for turbo, but if you don't have the patience I would get a LSD (if you don't have that already, get a used supra TT one for like $500), decent clutch ($500), drag radials($300), and a direct port 120 shot with appropriate fuel (probably just need a TT pump)(probably $1300-$1500 for the pump and a decent nitrous setup).
Make sure you get the additionals you need for the nitrous (bottle heater, purge valve, and in car bottle pressure gauge (I actually still need an in car gauge
)).
You may also need ignition, but I don't know... We are running 20+psi boost on my friends 92 with original ignition other than new OEM plug wires and it doesn't break up, so I wouldn't buy it until you find out you need it.
I think you could do all that for $2600 if you shopped around and you car would be flyin for the small amount of money in it!
As an added bonus I think pretty much everything I just listed would be reuseable when you go turbo![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I don't know about the NOS. Sure it's a cheap way to speed, but keep in mind you will blow the hell outta your engine sooner or later. I would save for a turbo or get breaks, suspension, rims, AFC, and possibly cams, pulleys, etc etc. Lots of things to do. If you do decide to get NOS, make sure you can break good or else, we'll be reading about you in the paper.

NOS won't blow up your engine unless you don't know what you're doing. As long as you keep the mixture right, you can run a huge HP shot and never have problems. (well except the fact its $26 to fill the NOS tank every week....ugh) ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

NOS WILL NOT BLOW YOU MOTOR. Nitrous is no different than any other means of adding more air to your motor. As long as you keep your fuel correct, and you don't run it on pump gas (kind of like not running a lot of boost on pump gas) then you will be fine.
I don't know why people always say things like that, it is really a pretty uneducated comment, and doesn't make any sense. NOS DOES NOT BLOW UP CARS, IMPROPER FUEL TUNING AND OWNERS NOT PATIENT ENOUGH TO WAIT TO GET RACE GAS DO.

Well first of all I would not be able to save that much money.
and if I did, I would probably keep on saving to get a turbo. You are already half way there. Imagine how long it would take to save it all up again if you started from 0. Well I don't know about you but like I said, I would not be able to save that much. Everytime I set aside money to do something to one of my toys something Murphy always moves in for about a week or two. Its like he has something against me saving money to spend on cars.
