Default what bulbs go into my 94 sc?

Before anyone can rag on me. I already did a search and diddly came out.

What are the wattage ratings and bulb numbers for
-the main lights
-the corner lights
-the high beam
-and the bottom bumper lights

and what happens if i use a higher wattage light, is anything gonna get burned out?

thanks y'all

Low Beams : 55w HB4/9006
High Beams: 65w 9005
Cornering Lights (located on the bottom of the bumper on each side, only light up with turn signals): 27w 1156 filament bulbs
Parking lights/city lights (located next to the low beam projector): 5w 168/194 wedge bulb
Turn Signals: 1157 filament bulbs
Amber Sidemarkers: 5w 168 bulb I THINK, not positive.

I put 80w bulbs into my 55w low beam sockets, and toasted the connectors. That's what happens. You then have to replace the connectors, 5 bucks each and wire them up. If you want to use higher wattage bulbs, buy a KYO plug-n-play heavy duty wiring harness.

I also modified my parking/city lights to accept the Polarg M6 bulb which is brighter and burns at a higher temperature, no problems experienced there yet. You do have to open the headlights to get this bulb to fit tho.

HB4 and 9006 is the same bulb.

My fogs have a yellow film on them, I wrapped them myself with the film I bought from AeroTect (vendor here on the site).

I dont think you want to paint the high beams. The high beams a) are a pain in the *** to take out and open up...b) they use the reflective housing to give you the brightness, unlike the low beams where the light is shot directly through the projector and out of the lens...the chrome piece in your low beams only provides reflectivity for the city/parking light.

and an HB4 (not H4, these are different) bulb is the SAME as a 9006 bulb for the low beams, you can buy a bulb with either designation and it will fit.

Yep, except they have an error when it comes to foglights/cornering lights on the 92-94...Sylvania seems to think that 92-00 SCs came with H3 fogs, not the case. 92-94 = 1156 filament, wheras 95-00 = H3 halogen.
