$10,000 sc400? low mil. good buy?
Hello this is my first post...I am about buy this car tomorrow for 10k and I was wondering if the guys on this boad think that I am getting a good deal.
I live in Texas and the blue book value on this car from a dealer is 10-11k
It's a 93' it only has 67,000 miles and the leather is near perfect. sunroof, 12-disc, 2k in rims and tires..what do you guys think?

We need to see more pics.......and run a Carfax on it.!!!
Check fender fitment (look at the bolts under the hood, if the've been turned...the fender has been off)
Get some pics off the hood, trunk and doors open. Post them here. We can tell if its been repainted, or what looks out of place.
If its in good shape...I'd buy it.!!
KBB says its worth $11,345 (in my area). For a FULL OPTIONED car........RETAIL
It's up to you to decide it its been wrecked or not, and what options may be missing.
All but exclude the rims from the selling price.....Those are there to get your attention
If its at a dealership.....red flags would be going off about ...........NOW.!!

well I went and looked at it yesterday, started it up, no weird noises the engine sounded real smooth and quiet, i turned the stereo up real loud it sounds great. Do these come stock with a sub? The only negatives were a few very small nicks almost unnoticeable, the dealer claims original paint and the body has no dings/dents, whatever goes in that small vertical spot on the passenger side console thing was missing, and a small spot in the left corner of the radio display was beginning to go out. other than that it's pretty much flawless, i'm really leaning towards getting it because my friend wrecked my truck, so i'm driving a buick that my aunt is lending me...i'm also pretty set on an sc400 i've been looking at several for about 1.5 months and all the ones I come across have interior in horrible condition or they just put seat covers and don't show it. this is the nicest one I have found other than a gold one at a local lexus dealership that already sold. ( but it had 98k mil. )
thx for any advice...

The slanted thing by the stereo........thats a cup holder, but its missing. It folds out.
I'd rather put a deposit on the car, get pics, and get the REALLY informed people here to help you.
Its better to make a good deal....than to regret what you just did.

forget car fax while it can be a good tool there are many ways to get around them, nothing is better than a good eye and lots of sun light to check over everything, and make sure to negotiate well.
good luck with the buy

Somethings up........
it's taken some hassle to get him down, when I first looked at it he wanted 11,995 and with ttl that would've came out to around 12,700
then an advert company misquoted and him and advertised it for 10,9 with ttl comes to 11,775
now I called him today and said I can give you 10k tomorrow and gave him my number, he called back and sounded like he agreed said to come in tomorrow.
