Default solution to climate control

i tried taking a hair dryer to the lcd on the climate control and it made some of the darkness less.
but mine was half blacked out and when i heated it, most of it started to became visible.
all you got to do is set the hair dryer on med or hot and and slowly move it back and forth.

Right, heat makes the LCD less dense, but........... you planning to drive around with a hairdryer and an extension cord?
